About Jared

As a college student myself I know how strenuous it can be to lead a busy life and partake in extracurricular activities, which is why I offer very flexible schedules.
Growing up I was always passionate about reading all type of books I could get my hands on, from encyclopedias, to the classics. I have been living in the New York City area for almost 10 years and being in this melting pot of cultures has inspired to share my knowledge with others and build a good rapport with my students.
I'm majoring in Economics and Forensic Accounting but I have always been enthusiastic about Anthropology, which is why I try to use multicultural material as a medium for practicing the language.

I am a firm believer that in order to learn a new language the best plan of action is to immerse yourself in the language in a fun and organic way exploring the areas you are most interested in. Time may vary based on the student's level and needs. My goal is to guide the student through this journey and help them fall in love with the language. I'm an avid reader in both Spanish and English which gives me the opportunity to use different material in order to make our sessions enjoyable. I am equipped to work with students of all ages, I love having the opportunity to open the doors to new Spanish Speakers.

I have a flexible schedule and can do home visits if in the NYC area.
