About Nerea
Hi! I’m Nerea, a Business student from Barcelona currently studying abroad at the University of Sydney. Spanish is my native language, and I have 4 years of experience tutoring primary and high school students.
I’m a friendly, patient and responsible person, and I really enjoy helping students feel more confident with Spanish and making the learning process enjoyable.
Outside of university, I love sports, spending time in nature and going to the beach. I’m also really enjoying discovering Sydney and everything the city has to offer during my time here!

I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, goals and learning style. I like to make Spanish practical and engaging, combining conversation, grammar, vocabulary and interactive exercises so students can build confidence while improving their skills.
I have 4 years of tutoring experience with both primary and high school students, helping them with schoolwork, exam preparation and general Spanish improvement. As a native Spanish speaker, I also focus on natural pronunciation and everyday expressions, helping students learn the language as it is actually spoken.
My lessons are usually 1 hour long, although I am happy to adapt the length depending on the student’s age and needs. I teach primary and high school students of all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students.
Most importantly, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing at their own pace.
