About Ylenia
Hi! My name is Ylenia and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain, currently living in Brisbane. I have a degree in Communication, which allowed me to study language and communication from different perspectives and develop a strong understanding of how we communicate and express ideas. I also work as a swimming teacher, so I have experience working with children. I’m confident, creative and a strong communicator, and I enjoy helping children discover Spanish and Spanish culture. I also hold a current Blue Card in Queensland.

My Spanish lessons are designed to be engaging, structured and adapted to each child’s level, personality and needs. I combine conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, grammar and other activities to help children develop their Spanish naturally. I use games, stories, pictures and practical activities to make learning enjoyable while keeping children focused and involved. Lessons can be adapted depending on the child’s goals and previous knowledge.
