About Mariona
I am a native Spanish speaker from Barcelona and have always enjoyed helping others learn my language and discover Spanish culture. Teaching gives me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and support them in achieving their personal goals.
I am patient, friendly and approachable, and I believe that learning a language should be both enjoyable and practical. I enjoy seeing my students gain confidence and become able to communicate more naturally in Spanish.
Having lived and worked in different environments, I understand the challenges of learning a foreign language as an adult or young person. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and progressing at their own pace.

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, goals and learning style. Whether you are preparing for GCSE or A-Level Spanish, improving your conversational skills, or learning Spanish for travel, work or personal interest, I will create lessons that help you make steady progress and build confidence.
As a native Spanish speaker, I focus on developing all key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Lessons are interactive and engaging, with plenty of opportunities to practise speaking in a supportive environment.
For exam students, I provide targeted support with grammar, vocabulary, speaking exams, writing tasks and revision techniques. For adult learners, lessons can be adapted to focus on conversation, pronunciation, everyday situations and cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world.
My aim is to make learning Spanish enjoyable, effective and motivating while helping each student achieve their individual goals.
