About Jia
My passion for language stems from my own journey with English. While studying in New York, I found companionship and motivation through the TV sitcom “Friends” during my loneliest times. This experience made me realise the power of engaging content in language learning. I love watching drama series and believe they can make leaning fun and effective. I want to share this approach with my students, using popular Cantonese and Mandarin songs and TV dramas to immerse you in the culture and make the language come alive.
