About Javier

Hello everyone! My name is Javier, and I am a Spanish teacher from Málaga, Spain. I currently work at an IB international school in Málaga, where I teach students aged 13–18. Alongside my work at the school, I also teach Spanish online.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than six years, and throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work at different schools in Poland as well as on various online teaching platforms. At the moment, I also collaborate online with a highly respected Spanish language school in Warsaw.

In addition to my teaching experience, I am a certified DELE examiner accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. I also help students prepare for the DELE exams and achieve their official Spanish certification.

About the lesson

My class structure is quite simple. I teach in the mornings, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Madrid time), and I offer both one-to-one and group lessons.

Although individual lessons are a great option if you are looking for a more personalised approach, I am currently putting more emphasis on group classes. I strongly believe that learning in a group can be extremely beneficial, especially when it comes to developing your communication skills and confidence.

When you learn with other people, you are not only communicating with your teacher and getting used to their pronunciation and intonation. You also have the opportunity to interact with people who may have different accents and ways of speaking. This is a great way to prepare yourself for real-life situations, where not everyone will speak Spanish in the same way.

Let’s be honest: joining a group class can seem intimidating at first. However, language schools all over the world use group classes because learning alongside other people is one of the most natural ways to learn a language. You get to listen to different voices, make mistakes without fear, learn from others, and gradually become more confident when speaking.

And when it comes to Spanish, there is another important factor: Spanish is a very social language, and its culture reflects that. Communication, conversation, and meeting new people are a huge part of the Spanish-speaking world.

So, why not give yourself the opportunity to learn Spanish while meeting people who share your interests? You never know — it could be the beginning of something special.

Of course, one-to-one lessons are priced as shown in the advertisement, while group classes come with a discount. If I do not currently have a group that is suitable for you, I will offer you the possibility of joining a waiting list until I find the group that best suits you. Groups always consist of between three and six students.
