About Banafsheh

I am currently training in TPSOL (Teaching Persian to Speakers of Other Languages).
I have been tutoring Farsi/Persian for about 2 years.

I also have a semi-professional background in studying Persian literature and poetry and teaching youth in different fields of my knowledge. I have been a tutor/mentor for about two years, and have worked with kids as young as 3 up to 50-year-old adults. :)

About the lesson

It is most important for me that the students have fun learning this beautiful yet complex language. The lesson plan, homework and exercises always get modified for each student to ensure their positive attitude towards the language and our classes.

Also, Persian culture has heavily influenced the Persian Language. By introducing students to this culture, it will be easier and more fun to learn and connect to this language!

I always start off by teaching the alphabet to the student; this ensures that they would be able to use the various Persian resources available to them. in 2 months' time, the student will be able to read and write. From there on, I shift my focus on grammar, conversations and listening skills. Of course, my teaching approach will be different and flexible according to each student's skillsets and preferences.
