About Sirine

I am a Native speaker of Arabic & a Graduate in Biotechnology. Passionate about Languages & learning in general. Most of my free time is devoted to linguistics, bibliophile, and polyglots from an early age. I particularly enjoy teaching. Transmitting knowledge, watching students grow, and following them through their schooling is a real challenge, but also a real reward. Beyond simply teaching, I strive to create a pleasant and relaxed working environment to boost students' confidence. Such a working environment and personalised follow-up enable students to develop the winning mindset required for success.

I use constructive teaching techniques based essentially on the exchange through reading, communication, and oral exercises while presenting the syntactic bases of each language through the examples studied. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------ • The course takes place in 3 stages: -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------ 1) Summary and explanation of the course or chapter to work with a summary sheet of the essentials of the system. 2) Do simple exercises to put the course into practice and apply practical problem-solving and writing activities. 3) In a third step, I give exercises with increasing difficulty that the student will do on his own to test him and put him in a condition to manage independently. We correct this list of exercises together, and the student will redo the unsuccessful exercises for the next session. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------ • Advantages/differentiation: -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------ ️• Education professional. ️• More than 300 hours of private lessons. ️• International teaching methods. ️• 100% personalised coaching. ️• Availability 7/24 for my students in regular follow-up.

  • Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

I speak the Arabic language and the Algerian dialect fluently because it is my mother tongue.
  • Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

The Prophet Muhammad is, without a doubt, the most devoted representative of Arabism. He mastered his language, culture, beliefs, and history. Through the Quran, of which he was the receptacle, he gave this language an international influence that has not ceased to grow for 14 centuries.
  • Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

The peaceful, loving people & their kindness that can be seen through the various expressions that wish you health & happiness as a "welcome"!
  • Why does speaking this language matter to you?

Nearly 300 million speakers speak this language in the world. Moreover, the Near and Middle East are, economically and politically speaking, fundamental poles in the world balance.
  • What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

The most challenging thing in the Arabic language is its vocabulary! It is a language very rich in words, the word does not stop at a single meaning because Arabic is the richest language in the world in synonyms, so when you hear the word (عسل), it does not come to mind that honey has eighty names in Arabic! Only practice can overcome this difficulty.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

I was teaching a young lady married to an Algerian, and she asked me how to say "my heart" I told her it's (قلبي), but there is a strong resemblance between the letter qaf and the letter kaf, so she went to tell her husband "كلبي" which means my dog!
  • How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

I have yet to have the opportunity to travel much. But I don't stop traveling daily through the works of medieval authors from different countries… who describe their reality to us and allow us to live with them.
  • What makes you a Superprof in language?

I love transmitting and seeing my students evolve. I am always available, and my students can reach me even outside class if they have any questions.
