About Natalia
My tutoring experience spans nearly two years working with elementary students, where I developed patience and creativity in explaining foundational concepts, as well as extensive work with high school and college-level students tackling more advanced material. I have guided students through many subjects, helping them not just memorize content but truly understand the underlying principles. As a heritage speaker who also completed college-level Spanish coursework, I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with students at all proficiency levels, from beginners building vocabulary to advanced students refining grammar and conversation skills. My approach focuses on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes, because I believe that's where real learning happens.

A typical lesson depends largely on the student and their learning goals. I will provide reading, writing, or conversational practice to meet the student's ability and guide them to improve. I may provide a set list of vocabulary, sentences or phrases, or subjects to focus on, and move on when the student has mastered such material, providing attainable goals that are continually reached.
