I lived my entire life in Istanbul, Turkey, before moving to Montreal to pursue a business degree at university. As a newcomer, I’ve faced the challenge of adapting to French being used in daily life. Although my studies continue in English—a language I’ve spoken fluently my whole life—my experience learning French has given me a unique perspective on the journey of acquiring a new language, much like you are embarking on with Turkish.

Growing up in Turkey, I taught English to preschool and primary school students, which honed my ability to simplify complex language concepts and make lessons engaging. This background in teaching English has significantly enriched my approach to teaching Turkish, enabling me to create lessons that are clear, fun, and effective for beginners.
