About Jakub

Hej! (ENG↓) Jestem Jakub. Jestem z miasta ‘Gdynia’ ale większość życia mieszkałem w Irlandii, więc jestem rdzennym mówcą polskiego i angielskiego. Ukończyłem Filologię Hiszpańską i Archeologię na uniwersytecie Trinity College Dublin. Teraz mieszkam w Hiszpanii, i mówię płynnie po hiszpańsku. W wolnym czasie lubię gotować (na zdrowo), przebywać w naturze i oglądać horrory. I’m Jakub. I come from a Polish city called ‘Gdynia’ but I spent most of my life living in Ireland, so I’m a native speaker of both Polish and English. I graduated in Hispanic Studies and Archaeology in Trinity College Dublin. Right now, I live in Spain and I’m a fluent Spanish speaker. In my free time I like cooking (healthy food, of course), being outdoors and watching horrors.

About the lesson

(ENG ↓) Ciekawe i dynamiczne klasy, bo uczenie się powinno być fajne! Podczas naszej pierwszej lekcji, poznamy się, porozmawiamy i zrobimy „lekcję próbną”, żebyś zobaczył jak wyglądają lekcje ze mną. Opowiesz mi też po co chcesz się nauczyć polskiego. Na podstawie tych informacji ustalimy plan lekcji dzięki któremu osiągniesz Twój cel. W moich lekcjach będziemy dużo rozmawiać, robić krótkie scenariusze, żebyśmy mogli przećwiczyć czego się nauczyłeś podczas lekcji. Nauka języka powinna być przyjemna, więc będziemy rozmawiać o tematach które Ciebie interesują. Jestem zawodowym nauczycielem języka angielskiego i polskiego od pięciu lat, ale miałem pierwszą pracę jako nauczyciel angielskiego siedem lat temu. Mam dużo doświadczenia w uczeniu języków, osobiście i online. Lekcje są dla dorosłych. Chętnie pomogę i początkującym i zaawansowanym. Interesting and dynamic classes, because learning should be fun! During our first session, we will get to know one another, chat and I will give you a "demo lesson", to give you an idea of what classes with me look like. I’ll ask you to tell me about why you want to learn Polish. With this information, we will decide the best way for you to reach your goals. There will be a lot of talking in our lessons and we will do short role-plays so that you can practise using the new vocabulary. Learning a language should be fun, so we will talk about things that you find interesting. I’ve been a full-time Polish and English teacher for the last five years, although I had my first job as an English teacher seven years ago. I’ve got a lot of experience teaching languages, both in person and online, to adults and teenagers. My classes are for adults, for beginners and advanced students, as well as anything in between.
