About Emily
My name is Emily. I graduated college last year and strangely enough I actually miss the learning process. I work at a local bakery and in my spare time I exercise, read, and listen to as much music as possible. The subjects I teach are English and maths. Specifically essay writing, exam prep, algebra and everything to do with those subjects.

I was by no means surfing my way through school. I was never naturally gifted so I understand the stress and need for extra learning. From that experience I developed great strategies to grasp and those difficult concepts. additionally tutoring can feel stressful sometimes especially when you don’t understand. I aim to be patient and understanding in my teaching approach and will repeat as much as you need. Truly I just want my students to be comfortable in their journey and whatever that takes.
