About Anna-Marie
Hello! I am a first year BSc Economics student at The London School of Economics. I am a dedicated, understanding and driven tutor who will ensure that my students reach their full potential. As a tutor what I ask is that as a student you are very honest about the topics you do/do not understand. Asking questions and being curious enhances and develops learning so that you will be able to use the tools you have learnt throughout your academic life and apply them to issues in the wider world. This is why Maths and Economics are so vital to any individual student as is the reason I have such a passion for them!! These subjects are the building blocks of the world we live in today and it is for this reason I believe everyone should have a in-depth understanding of them. I have developed the skills needed to be a supportive, proficient tutor through a wide range of experiences and I have acquired the academic knowledge needed to help others with their studies. Yet, more importantly, I have the interpersonal skills needed to become an approachable and likeable figure.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, as your tutor I am here to support you and guide you to a greater understanding of the chosen subject. I have been through the British school system and I know how important and stressful exams can be. However, what is vital is that that you get the help and support you need, to be able to go through all of it fully practised and confident, in order to demonstrate your full potential.
