About PETER
Hi! I’m Peter, a maths tutor with a difference. I bring the insight of someone who’s navigated life with autism and anxiety, combined with a career that spans being a best-selling author, touring musician, and TED speaker. I understand how different minds learn and thrive, and I specialise in supporting neurodivergent learners to excel, having worked with over 5000 students. My sessions are engaging, personalised, and designed to turn challenges into achievements. Are you or your child struggling with maths because of the way it’s usually taught? Do anxiety, focus, or processing differences make learning harder in traditional classrooms? I offer patient, personalised maths tutoring designed especially for neurodivergent learners (autism, ADHD, anxiety, dyscalculia, and related profiles). As someone who has lived experience of autism and anxiety myself, I understand how overwhelming “one-size-fits-all” teaching can feel. My approach is: Calm, patient, and encouraging Breaking maths down into simple, manageable steps Using creative strategies that suit individual learning styles Building confidence as well as skills Whether it’s catching up, preparing for exams, or simply making maths feel less scary, I’ll work alongside you to find the approach that works best. Available online or in person (local area) Flexible rates from £20/hr One-to-one or small group options
