I have lots of experience both teaching in the classroom, as well as one on one tutoring. Not only do I have a passion for learning and academic excellence, but also for teaching. I have a very student-first style, focusing mostly on areas where the student is struggling, and doing lots of practice problems for these topics.
A typical lesson plan for a homework help session includes the student bringing the homework after attempting to complete each problem first, after which we will go over the concepts and examples from some of the more challenging or difficult problems. At the end of the session, the student will have completed the homework on their own!
