About Rita
I have extensive teaching experience, from casual private lessons and tutoring to university-level undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Currently pursuing a PhD in Art in the UK, I am from Lebanon, and my love for the Arabic language inspires and connects me with learners.

I tailor each Arabic lesson to the learner’s level, goals, and pace. A typical session includes conversation, reading, dictation, and guided practice, but if you prefer a stronger focus on one of the methods, we'll do what suits your needs. As a trilingual, the lessons are especially suitable for English and French speakers, from beginner to advanced levels.
Besides academic Arabic, I am familiar with courses that essentially consist of conversations held in spoken Arabic (namely spoken Lebanese, but also suitable if you want to learn neighbouring languages like Syrian, Palestinian, Jordanian, etc.). There are more people who need a 'friend to practice with' and I would be happy to be that person. I am a music composer and filmmaker, so our conversations can be rooted in Arabic culture and art as well. Well ... if that's your cup of tea!
