About John
I have been involved in imaging of one kind or another most of my adult life. The last 15 years have been in Vascular Ultrasound. I enjoy the satisfaction of teaching which comes with recounting some of the successes and failures on the job.

About the lesson

I spent several years teaching at Sydney tech . the lectures were hour long. Subjects included a brief history of Photography, followed by the opportunity to examined several ancient cameras and a description of how they worked and the chemical treatment of monochrome material. As the course progressed the subjects included colour. My personal experience as a photographer allowed me introduce the students to the work of a newspaper photographer.
