About Niamh
I am Niamh, a 27 year old Irish maths teacher who has recently moved to Melbourne! In August I decided to pack up my life in Ireland and move to Australia with a few stops in Vietnam, Thailand and Bali on the way here. I have taught in both England and Ireland before coming Australia. I have a real passion for maths which was instilled in me by my own teachers in school and I thrive to pass this passion onto my pupils also. I understand that maths is not something that comes easy to a lot of people have aim to help pupils build their confidence around maths.

I have a very calm approach to tutoring, as a lot of pupils I find can have a negative mindset when it comes to maths which can hinder their progress. My lessons typically start with identifying what areas need focus and building the pupils confidence within maths. My lessons typically last 1 hour but can be longer or shorter depending on individual needs and circumstances, I am happy to carry out lessons either online or in the comfort of your own home. I have experience tutoring for exam level with a focus on past papers and exam technique. I also have experience tutoring year 5 - year 11.
