About Mel
I am a Sport Science student at Northumbria University, and I am fully bilingual in English and French, having lived in both the UK and France. I have experience tutoring students of different ages and abilities.
Growing up with a mother who is a teacher, I have been surrounded by education, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and improve their skills.
As both a student and an athlete, I understand the importance of patience, motivation, and discipline. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and reaching their full potential.

I offer personalised French and English tutoring tailored to each student's individual needs. I have been tutoring for the past two years and have experience working with students of different ages and abilities, from younger learners to GCSE and A-level students.
My lessons focus on identifying areas for improvement and building confidence through methods that work best for each student, whether that is exam practice, speaking exercises, grammar work, essay structure, or revision techniques. Lessons are typically 1 to 1.5 hours long and can be taught either online or in person, depending on location and availability.
I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment while helping them achieve their academic goals.
