I am a student studying Japanese Units 1&2 (Year 11 level) with an optimal ability to summarise and then explain information. Consistently developing my skills in Japanese at a rapid pace; I have also visited Japan and taken part in a homestay program, further enhancing my cultural awareness & understanding.

Able to provide independent tutoring and lessons for Year 7 - Year 10 level, for either independent or school-based learners.

As part of my teaching and explaining method, I prefer not to directly 'tell' students content, but rather explain concepts to a certain extent and then regularly question their understanding; to ensure my students are not only curious but also develop a solid understanding of all content covered.
To ensure I am able to cover important concepts with my tutored students within the time I have with them, I will use the support of Duolingo (for up to Year 10 level) to provide structure and revision-material outside of class, on top of my self-created coursework & grammar explanations.
Whilst prioritising supporting the student's learning as part of their school curriculum, I plan to simultaneously link class content to Duolingo content at their level to ensure cohesiveness between independent study, homework & in-class work; and to build students' foundation in a methodical way; teaching grammar concepts before working on vocabulary & sentence formation using topics relating to Japan.
