Hey! My name is Sophie, a Premiers All Rounder for the 2017 HSC with an ATAR of 99.5 and a State Ranking in Biology. In high school, I attended school at Riverside Girls, receiving a mark of 93 (Band 6) or above for all of my HSC subjects. I studied a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney and received first class honours for my thesis, scoring 90/100 with a WAM of 85/100. I am currently an financial advisory analyst, specialising in infrastructure and capital projects, specifically health, at Deloitte.

I have been a tutor for 5+ years and have helped numerous students receive their goals, including gaining Band 6s in subjects, receiving an ATAR over 90 or just generally improving their grades.

I believe there are many tips and tricks that allowed me to ascertain my ATAR of 99.5, which I am extremely keen to impart to any potential students. Having graduated from a non-selective, public school, I understand the importance of high internal rankings and am able to provide year-long assistance to achieve optimal rankings and results in an accessible, relevant manner.

I firmly believe the HSC is a marathon and not a sprint, and thus my tutoring services will enable you to garner the skills necessary to achieve a Band 6 in your desired subject/(s) through a supportive, educational tutoring environment.

Subject Offerings:

1. Biology (HSC mark of 98, 14th in the State)
2. Mathematics (HSC mark of 96)
3. Modern History (HSC mark of 96)
4. PDHPE (HSC mark of 96)
5. English Advanced (HSC mark of 93)
6. Willing to tutor all subjects for students Year 10 and below
7. Online script marking for English, Modern History, PDHPE and potential Biology Assignments.

Rates are approximately $60 an hour dependent on your year level and subject selection. I am more than happy to travel to houses around my local area at an additional cost, dependent on how far you live - ideally the Hunters Hill/Balmain/Putney area! I am also willing to do multidisciplinary tutoring in a variety of subjects (ie. an hour-long combination of Mathematics, Biology and Advanced English revision depending on what requires the most attention at that time), as well as single subjects.
