About Faithmarie
In high school, I gained 3 years of experience tutoring students in math and reading. During my first two years of undergrad, I tutored chemistry, physics, and math through my college. I also offered private tutoring lessons to students needing additional support.

Holistic approach to learning with an emphasis on identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the student. By throwing the student into an area that they are unfamiliar with, I am able to see their approach and help them work through the material. They learn the material rather than just memorizing steps.
Typical lesson plan:
-Going over carefully curated material that was assigned after the previous session in order to assess mastery
-Attempting a problem set related to today's lesson
-Explaining the lesson and going through example problems
-Having the student work through the same problem set with the lesson in mind
-Assigning a problem set to be done before the next session
