I’m a nursing student with a strong interest in Biology and health sciences. I offer patient and easy-to-understand lessons in Biology, Anatomy, Microbiology, and Cellular Biology.
1. Teaching Methods & Techniques
- Simple Concept Explanations — I break down difficult scientific concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations using everyday examples and relatable analogies.
- Active Recall — Students are encouraged to explain concepts in their own words to strengthen understanding and long-term memory.
- Visual Learning — I use diagrams, illustrations, tables, and step-by-step explanations to make biological and anatomical processes easier to visualize.
- Practice Questions — Short quizzes and practice questions are used to check understanding and prepare students for assessments.
- Feynman Technique — Students explain a concept back to me as if they were teaching it, helping identify areas that need further clarification.
2. Typical Lesson Plan
a. We begin with a short review or check-in about the previous lesson.
b. We identify the topic or concepts that the student finds difficult.
c. I explain the lesson step-by-step using examples, diagrams, and simplified explanations.
d. We practice recalling and applying the concepts through questions and activities.
e. We end with a short recap and review questions to check understanding.
f. Lessons can be adjusted depending on the student’s level, goals, and upcoming exams.
