About Celeste

Hello, I'm Celeste! I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at Bryant & Straton College. I also spent four years at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where I majored in dance. Though I grew up loving fine arts, I recently realized my love for helping people. I love helping others reach their goals no matter how big or small my role is.

I have a year of tutoring experience in middle school through high school math. I usually tutor family members, who range from k3- college level. However, I've decided to join Wyzant as I love tutoring and would like to also become a helpful resource for other students. I directly work with students who may need extra help in classes like math, English, and writing. I'm also willing to help students with fine art classes! I want to benefit each student that I work with as much as possible. All resources and suggestions are helpful for students and parents!

From elementary math to college math, I have always loved the challenge of using numbers. I have tutored the most in math (it is also my favorite). I'm able to recognize and address students' problem areas and work accordingly.

I've taken Anatomy twice and along the way, I've learned different tips and tricks to understanding. This includes many memorization tricks!

I have danced ballet since I was 10 years old. I then joined the cheerleading team in the tenth grade. A year later, I joined my first official dance team, where I was trained in various styles. During this training, the ballet was critically taught as it is the foundation of all dance. Two years later, I auditioned to become a dance major at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where I attended for four years.

About the lesson

My teaching method is active learning through many resources that I use in college. I base my classes on information the student gives on lessons & example problems. I approach each topic by assessing how much the student knows and listening to what they feel are their strengths/ weaknesses.
