About Caroline

I am passionate about working with our future nurses to increase their confidence and professionalism. I try to always make my students relaxed on their placements as this approach encourages them to be the best they can be. Prior to going on placement, we can establish where they are going and what area they will be working in. We can then look at what they wish to achieve. Discuss how to write learning objectives and reflections. How to manage documentation depending on the clinical setting they work in, develop critical thinking skills. Practice giving ISOBAR handover. I have been a nurse in many different settings as well as working in the Pharmaceutical industry.

About the lesson

Nursing students preparation for Clinical Practice.
I have a consultative approach and work with students on identifying their lack of knowledge and putting strategies and education in place prior to or during clinical placement.
Also education around applying for Grad programs.
Lessons usually run for an hour.
