About TRISHA
I spent ten years as a Senior Data Analyst working with Excel every single day. Not in a training environment — in real organisations, solving real problems, under real deadlines.
Before that I was a teacher. Seven years in secondary schools with a PGCE, teaching ICT and Maths. So I have always been someone who enjoys helping others understand things, not just knowing them myself.
When I was made redundant earlier this year I decided to bring both things together. The industry knowledge that makes what I teach relevant, and the teaching ability that makes it actually land.
I am straightforward, patient, and I will not blind you with jargon. If you leave a session without understanding something we go over it again. Simple as that.

Most people I work with already use Excel at work but feel like they are only scratching the surface. They spend way too long doing things manually, they are not sure their formulae are right, and they know there must be a better way — they just have not had anyone show them properly.
That is exactly what I do.
I spent ten years using Excel professionally as a Senior Data Analyst across the NHS, Network Rail, and Coventry Building Society. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, automating reports — these are not things I learnt from a textbook. They are things I used daily to do a real job under real pressure.
But I am also a qualified teacher with a PGCE and seven years in the classroom. So I know how to take something complicated and explain it in a way that actually sticks.
My sessions are entirely practical. I do not waste your time on theory you will never use. Wherever possible I work with your actual spreadsheets and your actual data so that by the end of the session you have solved a real problem, not just completed an exercise.
