About Anthony
Education became my calling when I saw how quickly students could progress with the right map. 160 students have passed through my classroom doors since I started this work. Working with absolute beginners and intermediate learners who prioritize conversation is where I feel most at home.
I am a UQ graduate who keeps things straightforward and direct. You will find that I push you to be curious about how the language actually functions. Starting our time together with a diagnostic level test ensures we build a plan that targets your specific gaps before we jump into new material. After conducting this initial assessment, I construct a path that incorporates your vocabulary building and verb conjugation needs alongside practical travel French.
My 13 years of experience as a UQ graduate allow me to draw on a deep well of knowledge when explaining the nuances of idioms and expressions. We spend time on everyday phrases for beginners and rigorous interview preparation so that you gain true conversational fluency. I am constantly adjusting the pace to make sure you remain challenged but never overwhelmed by the volume of content. It is truly enjoyable to watch a student bridge the gap between hesitation and fluid expression during our practice sessions.
