I have been in the same classes as Dulcie since year 7. She has always been a confident and intelligent girl and grown into the smartest and kindest young woman that I know today. Throughout our GCSE years, I struggled a lot. However, she was always there with a helping hand during lessons and after school to help me understand the content we had been learning in our lessons. We sat next to each other in maths, biology and chemistry (three of my most difficult subjects) and without her I know I would not have got the grades that I achieved. She never just gave me the answers, she took the time to explain the method or thought process and encouraged me to find the answer for myself with her assistance. I would highly recommend her as a tutor as I’ve watched her help a young girl through the reading programme in our school and I know that girl has grown in confidence and ability.
