About Lara

I'm a dynamic native Spanish teacher with a passion for languages! I hold two master's degrees in the field of education and teaching Spanish as a foreign language. With over 10 years of experience in teaching, I'm here to make your language journey an enjoyable and tailored one. Spanish is not just a language to me, it's my mother tongue and my area of expertise. I graduated in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Salamanca in Spain, and I even had the amazing opportunity to embark on an Erasmus adventure at the University of Geneva (in Switzerland). I also hold a Master's degree in Language Education and another Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Throughout my teaching career, I've had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and backgrounds. So whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I've got you covered. I know how to adapt my lessons to meet your specific needs and goals. Get ready to embark on a fun-filled Spanish learning journey with me! Together, we'll dive into the language, explore its vibrant culture, and unlock your full potential. Let's make language learning an exciting adventure you'll never forget!

About the lesson

I provide customized targeted courses that add great value. We work on your specific goals, such as:

Becoming more comfortable in conversation (whether at work or with friends)
Improving your accent so that you no longer feel self-conscious
Enhancing your speech clarity so that others hear your message clearly and perceive your confidence
Mastering Spanish for better preparation in meetings (appropriate terms to use, effective argument delivery, time distribution among participants when chairing a meeting)
Developing skills for business or diplomatic negotiations
Preparing for exams (such as the DELE)
Improving your Spanish in specific domains (law, medicine, finance, aerospace industry, etc.)
Strengthening your grammar proficiency.

Who can benefit from these sessions? Who are my students?

Private coaching is suitable for everyone at any stage of life. Among the diverse range of students I have had the pleasure of teaching, there are pilots, diplomats, scientists, journalists, lawyers, doctors, nurses, private bankers, and students from various backgrounds.

Here are some concrete examples: I have helped students succeed in standard exams like the DELE, pass high school exams, prepare for studying in a Spanish-speaking country, find new jobs where strong Spanish skills are required, make career transitions, prepare speeches, get ready for court hearings abroad, deliver presentations in Spanish to expert colleagues, and negotiate financial agreements with clients.

In our sessions, you can expect tailored instruction that not only meets your needs but also makes your language learning experience enjoyable and rewarding. Together, we will unlock your full potential in the Spanish language.

Skype lessons with Lara have really enabled me to improve my communication skills within a professional environment. I particularly enjoyed how she also highlights social and cultural ambiguities, humour and irony through language. So if you're looking for dynamic and fun classes, Lara is the perfect choice. She’s outgoing, creative, and with her you will get to speak a lot and learn about Spanish culture. I can’t recommend her enough!
