About Aemika
Hi! I'm Aemika, and I'm currently an ATAR (QLD) student in 2024. I've mentored younger students (years 1–9) in math but have mainly guided grade 5-7 students before. I love sharing what I know about math and the skills to conquer it!

Generally the session plan I use follow a simple but effective structure.
1. 3-5 minutes are allocated for an intro to the session (excluding the 1st session) a simple question would be used as a recap of the previous lesson and to understand the students goals for this session.
2. Next, approx. 10 minutes would be used by the student if they had any questions about the topic discussed last lesson/the warm-up
3. The following 30 minutes would be used for the topic the student would like to conquer for this lesson! We would work on it together using real-life examples or a approach best suited for the student.
4. The remainder time would be used as a wrap-up and to allow the student to ask any remaining questions they have.
Past papers, online resources, or any target specific resources for the student can/would be used.
