About Rhiannon

I'm an Oxford University French and Arabic student; I studied French throughout school and achieved an A* A level grade. I understand effective teaching and how important it is to involve the student and incorporate their approach into my lessons to make sessions as productive as possible.

Most of all, I love languages! French is the language I've studied and loved for the longest, so I'm constantly studying and immersing myself in French at university and travelling which gives students realistic help with learning and understanding this language.

I have worked with a range of students in terms of ability, age and learning style and will centre their needs while taking into consideration the goals they set and the perspective of their parents/carers.

About the lesson

I offer a teaching approach that combines speaking and listening skills with reading, writing and grammar according to the student's current course of study.

I will use my own resources and build off of their curriculum to tailor the lessons both to their learning objectives and to what they require to take their next step in their language learning, whether that be a personal goal or an exam.

I am focused, patient and approachable, having worked in a range of public and personal tutoring spaces and with a variety of students. I am able to assess students' strengths and weaknesses and build up their skill and confidence to help them move forward.
