Tutoring Approach & Methodology: My tutoring style is student-focused and adaptable, meaning I adjust each lesson to the individual’s needs, learning style, and goals. I use a combination of step-by-step explanations, exam-style practice questions, and active recall techniques to strengthen understanding and boost confidence. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique as well as core knowledge, ensuring students not only learn the material but also know how to apply it effectively in assessments. Lesson Structure: A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, beginning with a short recap of previous content, followed by focused teaching on new material, and ending with practice questions and feedback. For group sessions, I ensure everyone stays engaged by balancing individual attention with collaborative problem-solving. Qualifications & Experience: I have practical experience tutoring both one-to-one and in groups at my school, where I supported secondary school students in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Kingsford Community School. This role helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, accessible way. Who My Lessons Are For: I offer tutoring for secondary school students (KS3, GCSE, and A Level) who want to: - Build confidence in Maths and Sciences - Improve grades and exam performance - Receive tailored support outside of the classroom
