About Jimmy

I have spent over 15 years working in recruitment, both in-house and agency side, across a wide variety of industries and role levels. This experience has given me a deep understanding of what employers are really looking for and how candidates can stand out at every stage of the hiring process. I originally trained as a qualified teacher, and although my career path led me into recruitment, my passion for teaching and supporting others has always remained. Combining my background in education with my extensive recruitment expertise means I can explain the job-hunting process clearly, practically, and with your individual goals in mind. I am genuinely passionate about helping people find new opportunities. Guiding candidates to success has always been at the heart of my work, and I’m excited to now share that knowledge with my students, helping you feel confident and fully prepared to take the next step in your career.

Together, we can cover every aspect of job hunting, including: How to structure and optimise your CV How to search and apply for roles effectively How to prepare for interviews with confidence How to follow up on applications and interviews professionally How to showcase your skills and experience to employers Each lesson lasts around one hour and is fully personalised — no two sessions are the same. My teaching style is practical, supportive, and interactive. I’ll provide clear strategies, real-life examples, and constructive feedback so you can immediately put what you learn into practice. I bring over 15 years of recruitment experience, having worked both in-house and agency side across a wide range of industries and role levels. This means I understand what employers look for and how hiring decisions are made — insights I’ll share with you throughout our sessions. My lessons are suitable for all levels and ages: students, graduates, career changers, and experienced professionals alike.
