About L Maria
¡Hola!
My name is María. I am a native Spanish teacher from Spain, and I have been helping students learn and master Spanish for more than 15 years.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Philology from the University of Salamanca and a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the same university.
Throughout my career, I have taught Spanish in Spain and abroad, working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and at all levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. My passion for languages has taken me around the world, allowing me to study at different universities, live in several countries, and gain a deeper understanding of how people learn and communicate across cultures.
I speak four languages, and my love for languages, cultures, and teaching inspires me to create engaging lessons that help students communicate with confidence and enjoy the learning process.
I look forward to helping you discover Spanish in a natural, effective, and enjoyable way!

My Spanish teaching method is designed to help students develop real communication skills without depending on translation from their native language. By learning Spanish through context, repetition, and direct interaction with the language, students develop the ability to express themselves naturally rather than translating from their native language, allowing them to speak more naturally and avoid common mistakes.
