About Ammar
I am a second-year Electrical Engineering student at Cardiff University, where Physics underpins much of what I study. I achieved A* in Physics at A-level, alongside an A in Mathematics and A* in Chemistry, giving me a strong and well-rounded scientific foundation.
Before university, I worked as a teaching assistant at A-level and tutored GCSE students in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, so I know where students tend to struggle and how to break down complex concepts into something that genuinely makes sense.
Outside of my studies, I am an active member of Cardiff University's Formula Student and Rocketry teams, where I apply Physics and Engineering in very real, hands-on ways every week. I also volunteer tutoring robotics to high school students, so teaching is something I am deeply committed to beyond the classroom.
I am patient, methodical and passionate about helping students see Physics not as a collection of formulae to memorise, but as a way of understanding the world around them. Whether you are aiming to catch up, consolidate, or push for the top grades, I am here to support you every step of the way.

My lessons follow a concept-first approach. We build a solid understanding of the physics before moving into structured practice and problem-solving. Each session runs for 60 minutes and is tailored to your individual needs, whether you are consolidating the fundamentals at GCSE or working through the more demanding content at A-level.
I cover all GCSE and A-Level Physics topics, with strong familiarity with CIE and International A-level syllabuses, as well as the ability to adapt to AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. All lessons are delivered entirely online using interactive tools, making sessions engaging and collaborative.
These sessions are suitable for GCSE students aged 14–16 and A-level students aged 16–18 who want to develop real understanding, improve their exam performance, or build confidence in a subject that many students find challenging.
