About Smriti
Hi! My name’s Smriti, a Brisbane high school student who loves literature and writing. I can’t wait to help you out with whatever literary needs you have and achieving your artistic best! Whether this be improving your reading comprehension and understanding more complex sentence structures, thinking up out of the box narrative ideas, taking that analysis one step further or unpacking that classical text, I look forward to seeing how I can help you. Because I just graduated in 2025, I believe this will help me relate to whatever doubts you have even further, and keep you updated on expectations of the curriculum, or marking mannerisms whilst making me someone you feel comfortable around.

Offering tuition to Year 11/12 Students in QCE Literature and Year 9/10 English, all levels of knowledge are welcome!
I provide personalised assignment feedback and structures, exam tip sheets and homework for those willing to extend themselves! During sessions if needed, I will walk through my previous exemplars that have achieved full marks from Year 11 to current Year 12 internal pieces.
I am flexible for 1 hour sessions weekly, depending on what work you want to go through and what will give you the confidence for your exams or assignment submissions.
Our first session will be understanding what works best for you and how I can help you as much as I can! I am free to contact with questions and may only take a day to reply during exam season, which I will provide to you as a schedule in advance.
My method of teaching consists of firstly answering any doubts you may have, and then going through the material I have made for you depending on what you send me earlier in the week. Feedback walk through will consist of explanation and example phrases, and creative writing brainstorming will be through a process I utilise for all my pieces that achieved full marks.
I have tutored at a more elementary level such as NAPLAN, with my student achieving the top band, as well as helping acquintances with their work.
