About Matt
I am a personable and energetic Oxford graduate with the skills and experience to tutor pupils and students of all ages and aptitudes to fulfil their potential throughout school, university and beyond.
I had an eight year career in the City, working as a commercial finance lawyer for top English and US law firms. Since then, I have spent the past year working towards starting my own business, however, these plans have been put on hold as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. I now have the opportunity to reengage with my passion for teaching (online!) and share my experience to help others.
I am able to tutor all Common Entrance, all core GCSE subjects, plus French, Law and Latin, and English Literature, English Language, Law and History to A Level. I have prepared students for Oxbridge applications and other university law degree applications with great success. I provide expert mentoring and coaching for careers in law as well as advanced interview practice for applications to university, training contracts and other full-time jobs. Finally, I can help with intellectually stimulating conversational English practice / maintenance for overseas pupils.
I have experience in delivering pro bono tutoring to school pupils of a variety of ages and aptitudes with a track record for improvement and success. I am capable of engaging with pupils or students of all ages to deliver effective tuition. I tailor tuition to any age, background or level to ensure pupils and students achieve their best.
