About Mehwish

Hello! I’m Mehwish, an experienced professional with around 14 years of experience in HR and people management. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with people of different ages, backgrounds and personalities, which has helped me develop strong communication, patience and interpersonal skills.

Alongside my professional career, I have also provided home tutoring and academic support to school-going children. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with children at different learning levels and understand that every child has their own pace, personality and way of learning.

I decided to start teaching because I want to use my experience, communication skills and passion for learning to support school-going children in a more personal way. I understand that every child is different, and sometimes a little extra attention, patience and encouragement is all they need to understand a concept and believe in themselves.

I would especially love to work with children of Pakistani and Muslim families living abroad who may need additional support with English, Urdu, Mathematics, reading, comprehension, homework and general academic development. I can also help children stay connected with Urdu, Islamic Studies and the Pakistani curriculum where required.

My goal is not just to help children complete their homework or prepare for a test. I want to help them understand what they are learning, ask questions without hesitation, develop confidence and gradually become independent learners.

As a parent myself, I also understand how important it is for parents to find someone they can trust with their child’s learning. I aim to create a friendly, respectful and comfortable online environment where children feel encouraged, supported and happy to learn.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is designed to make online learning effective, engaging and comfortable for every child\. I provide personalized lessons for school\-going students, adapting each class to the child’s age, learning level, personality and individual needs\.

I understand that children learn best when they feel confident, supported and interested\. That is why I do not rely on memorization alone\. I explain concepts clearly, use simple real\-life examples, encourage questions and provide guided practice so students can understand their lessons and apply what they learn independently\.

I can support children with English, Urdu, Mathematics, reading, comprehension, homework and general academic development\. For Pakistani families living abroad, I can also help children maintain their connection with Urdu, Islamic Studies and the Pakistani curriculum\.

Online lessons are conducted in a friendly and interactive environment using age\-appropriate activities, discussion, practice exercises and regular feedback\. I make sure students remain involved throughout the lesson rather than passively listening\. This helps them improve their academic skills while also developing confidence, focus and a positive attitude towards learning\.

I am especially comfortable teaching younger children and understand that each child progresses at a different pace\. I patiently identify areas that need improvement, celebrate progress and adjust my approach whenever necessary\.

With flexible timings, online tutoring is convenient for families living in different countries and time zones\. My goal is to make every lesson productive, enjoyable and meaningful so that children look forward to learning and parents can see steady progress in their child’s performance\.
