About Ashwin
I'm currently pursuing a Computer Science degree at Imperial College London, fuelled by a love for both technology and teaching. My academic background is strong, with 12 Grade 9s at GCSE and top marks of A*A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Physics at A-level. I’ve also earned Gold and Silver in the UKMT challenges and a STEP grade 3 award, showing my dedication to problem-solving and analytical thinking. What drives me as a tutor is the satisfaction of helping students overcome their academic hurdles. There's a unique thrill in seeing that moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. My teaching style is all about making learning an enjoyable and stress-free experience. I take pride in breaking down complex ideas into simple, digestible steps, and I’m always ready to adapt my methods to suit each student’s learning style. My students often tell me how much they appreciate my patience, enthusiasm, and ability to make even the most daunting topics feel manageable. Outside of my studies, I like to unwind with badminton, table tennis, and listening to music. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable journey, not just a destination. That’s why I bring a bit of my personality and interests into my teaching, aiming to make our sessions engaging and memorable.
