I have a PhD in Molecular Genetics and I have fellowship (FRCPath) from Royal College of London. I have completed 2 postdoctoral works in the USA. I have served in several administrative, research, teaching and technical positions. I have published over 60 peer-reviewed papers in journals like Science, Nature Genetics, Genomics, Clinical Genetics, etc.

The mode of teaching for my lessons has involved both problem-based learning and traditional teaching. I have taught both in colleges and universities, and have delivered spiral-based teaching program in Human Genetics in Medical college. The courses I taught have included biological sciences, cell biology, clinical genetics, medical genetics and genetic counselling.
