About Cara
I received my teaching degree in Australia in 2014. Afterward, I moved home to Toronto, then to California, and back home to Toronto. During this time, I taught and tutored students, providing me with7 years of experience. I recently completed my Master's of Education at the University of Toronto. In my free time, I love to travel, go on adventures, play/watch hockey, and spend time with friends and family.

My lessons are geared towards helping students in K-8 achieve confidence in themselves, their learning, and their abilities as they become adept learners inside and outside of the classroom. The first session typically involves a diagnostic assessment in order to help me analyze the area(s) in which the student needs help. I am able to help improve grades, offer homework help, provide extension work, help with the preparation of the SSAT, provide test-taking strategies, and build confidence in your child. My goal is to guide students and provide them with constructive feedback and multiple learning strategies to help them become independent learners.
