About Avnish
GCSE Science tutor with a BSc in Optometry and a strong background in Biology and Chemistry. Science has always been something I genuinely enjoy, especially those moments when a tricky idea suddenly “clicks” and everything starts to make sense.
At the heart of it, I teach because I love helping students realise they’re capable of much more than they think.

I want to make learning science feel simple, engaging, and a lot less intimidating.
I like to keep lessons interactive rather than just talking at you. We’ll break tricky topics down into clear, easy steps, use quick questions to keep you involved, and practise exam-style questions so you know exactly how to pick up marks. I also use real-life examples to help things actually make sense (not just memorised!).
60 minute lessons which includes a quick recap, learning a key topic, and then applying it with practice questions. I keep things relaxed and supportive so you feel comfortable asking anything.
I genuinely enjoy helping students go from “this makes no sense” to “ohh I get it now!” — that’s the best part.
