Hi, I'm Oscar! I am currently a Graduate Entry Medical Student at the University of Oxford. I can offer tutoring in Physics, Maths, Further Maths, UCAT and Oxbridge preparation.

About Oscar
Having completed two Master's degrees, I have inevitably done a lot of teaching, and it's something that I really enjoy and find rewarding.
I have a strong academic background across both science and medicine. I achieved 3 A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-level, went on to study Theoretical Physics at Durham University and the National University of Singapore, and I have since completed postgraduate study (MSc) in medical physics at KCL as well as a Level 7 (Master's level) qualification in AI and Data Science. I have also completed and lectured as part of the highly competitive Scientist Training Programme with the NHS, and have worked in and around research for the past 7 years, both publishing papers and presenting at international conferences.
Having gone through a slightly unconventional career route, I understand that there isn't necessarily one "right" academic path, but combining strong qualifications with being adaptable is really the key whatever you want to go into, and this is something that I really emphasise to my students. Whether you are preparing for GCSEs or preparing that all important Oxbridge application, I'm happy to work with students at different stages and adapt sessions to whatever they are finding difficult.

I offer tutoring in Physics, Maths, Further Maths, UCAT and Oxbridge preparation. I am particularly happy to help with Oxbridge applications and interview preparation, having recently gone through the process myself and now studying Graduate Entry Medicine at the University of Oxford. I can also help with UCAT preparation, including approaches to the different question types, timing strategies and interview preparation.
