About Ivo
I am a friendly and engaging science tutor based in Fulham but able to travel throughout London.
I mainly tutor Chemistry, and have a wealth of experience with all A Level exam boards. I also tutor Biology, Physics to GCSE, and can help with preparation and interview practice for medical school.
A little about me: I completed my 4 year Master's degree in Chemistry at Oxford, and am now in my 3rd year completing a second degree in Medicine.
I love to teach and help nurture passion for science, and have been tutoring for around 4 years. I focus on ensuring that difficult concepts are broken down and understood, giving a solid basis on which to build knowledge. I have a dynamic and interactive tutoring style, engaging students by asking them questions and tackling problems together to make the information really stick.
I prepare thoroughly for my tutorials, including bringing relevant questions to work through together, as well as printed notes if requested.

Ivo gave me Chemistry lessons during Upper Sixth when working towards getting an A-Level qualification. By emailing him the subject area I would like to cover in my lesson, Ivo came prepared with sufficient notes in a logical order. Along with his precise and well rounded scientific knowledge, he was able to clearly explain the areas within context. Furthermore, he was also a great help when dealing with my A level coursework, helping with accurate wording of sentences to making sense of practical processes, in which I achieved an overall grade of A.
