About Marcus
I’m a practicing lawyer, University Medallist and Oxford Master of Laws graduate with a strong academic and professional background in law. I graduated with First Class Honors in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce before completing my Master of Laws at the University of Oxford.
Throughout my studies, I developed a strong interest in helping other students achieve their academic potential. I have tutored law students across a range of subjects and understand that succeeding at university is not simply about knowing the content, but knowing how to analyze legal problems, structure an argument and communicate it effectively.
I bring the same approach to tutoring. I am patient, approachable and highly organized, and I tailor lessons to the individual student rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. My aim is not only to help students improve their marks, but to give them the skills and confidence to become more independent and effective learners.
Whether you are struggling with a particular subject, aiming for a higher mark or preparing for an important examination, I am committed to providing clear, practical and genuinely useful guidance.

. have experience tutoring law students across a range of subjects and bring both strong academic results and practical experience as a practicing lawyer to my teaching .I focus on breaking down complex legal concepts into clear and manageable frameworks, before applying them to problem questions, essays and past exam questions.
My approach combines teaching substantive content with practical exam technique. I place particular emphasis on issue spotting, legal analysis, answer structure and developing the ability to apply principles effectively under exam conditions. Where appropriate, I also review written work and provide targeted feedback on how it can be improved.
Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I am happy to work with students on a regular basis or provide more intensive support in the lead-up to examinations.
I am a University Medallist with First Class Honors in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce, and I hold a Master of Laws from the University of Oxford.
