About Henrique
I am a Master's Student, part-time tutor! I used to teach when I was in high-school (maths and physics), and have decided to continue this in the UK! Under my tutelage, my students managed to achieve good passing grades, while previously they were aiming for very negative ones.

My teaching method revolves around the main idea that the key to learn a topic or idea is to understand how and why it was developed in the first place and then just practice its application! This follows the basis for my lessons in maths, physics and chemistry on all levels.
Usually, my lessons on a specific topic begin with a couple of problems for the tutee to try to solve, so that they can understand the difficulties associated with them, and then explain the theory, alluding to the problems throughout as examples. At the end, practice makes perfect, so I usually encourage the student to try applying the lesson to a few more problems.
