About Tom
Currently I am on my gap year, which I decided to take in order to sit my A-Level exams last October, and to travel if possible. I have experience tutoring students at Hanham Woods academy in GCSE Mathematics, and tutoring students at Bristol Grammar School for UKMT maths challenges (I have earned two distinctions in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1, and one distinction in British Mathematical Olympiad Round II).
A-Levels:
A* - Computer Science
A* - Further Mathematics
A* - Mathematics
A* - Chemistry
Next year I will be attending Oriel College, Oxford, to read Mathematics and Computer Science.

The structure of a lesson is always dependent on what best suits a student. Developing understanding of difficult syllabus topics by working through examples and using analogies is key, but some students benefit more from focusing on exam technique and higher level application. Due to Covid-19 I am looking to tutor online using my webcam and stylus trackpad.
