About Natalie
I've been a volunteer tutor in Maths and Physics through sixth form and university.
Now that I've recently graduated, I want to continue improve understanding of what I know can be challenging subjects and be a friendly face to ask questions, boost confidence and prepare for assessments.

Typically lessons start with a discussion of goals and current understanding, to make the lesson as relevant to the student as possible.
My previous experience as a volunteer tutor has mostly focused on filling in knowledge gaps (caused due to covid), so I'm no stranger to teaching topics from scratch, starting at the beginning and laying foundations working through to exam style questions so students can feel confident they've covered everything there is to know.
I'm a big believer in introducing exam tips and revision early and including "throwback" questions from previous lessons to keep understanding fresh.
