About Sacha
With 20+ years' experience in the media (the last 7 at the BBC), connecting with people has become a particular strength and I use a fun approach to help students enjoy learning which in turn enables them to attain the highest grades. If they're having fun, the knowledge is more ingrained, the learning deeper and the results better all round.

Maths can be an inspiring subject that is often taught on autopilot. It is the language of nature, of machines, of human behaviour.... It's an all-purpose tool that allows us to profoundly understand the world and 'getting it' can help lay the foundation for a fulfilling life. My approach to tutoring is clear, calm, confidence-building and fun where the student feels safe to make mistakes and learn from them and leaves inspired to soar in their exams. Whether I'm helping a student who's having exam stress or coaching a high-achiever wanting to go beyond the curriculum, each lesson is tailored to the student and their most preferred way of learning - and finding creative explanations to explain concepts is a particular strength and the best place to have fun too.
