About Oran
I am a recent Oxford graduate with a 1st-Class degree in Mathematics who has developed a passion for education and helping students achieve their potential. Having achieved 11A*s at GCSE and 3A*s at A-Level, my subject knowledge is vast and I use this effectively to communicate a level of understanding that will set my students apart in examinations and in their future endeavours.

I strongly believe that the key to success is understanding. When studying science, and mathematics in particular, I encourage students to ask questions, such as “Why does this formula work? Where does it come from?” To achieve this, my lessons will often begin with a discussion of key concepts and underlying principles. In addition, where possible, I will highlight links with other branches of mathematics.
I have over a year of experience, with a high level of success at GCSE, A-Level and also for university maths admissions tests (such as Oxford MAT) and scholarship exams for schools such as Harrow and Winchester College.
